Alex and Chace are back with some more NHL Conference Finals hockey to speak about. First, they look at the Florida Panthers advancing to the Stanley Cup Finals for the first time in almost three decades by sweeping the Carolina Hurricanes. The Hurricanes are now 0-12 in their last three Conference Finals appearance. Being swept in 2009, 2019, and now 2023. The guys discuss where Carolina goes from here and why this coming year may be the last "great chance" to go for it all before some massive salaries reset in 2024-25.
They then switch to the Western Conference where the Dallas Stars have fought back from a 3-0 series deficit to make it 3-2. Game 6 goes tonight and Jamie Benn is back in the lineup, although the guys question whether that should be the case or not. Once again, it may come down to Jake Oettinger and if he can pull it together to become the goalie we have known him to be over the past few seasons. If not, Dallas may still be in tough.

Alex and Chace are back with another loaded episode! Kyle Dubas out of Toronto was the storyline that took over the hockey world this weekend! However, the guys start with some NHL Conference Finals talk. This Florida team is giving vibes of an underdog past to Alex. However, can they keep the underdog story and momentum going long enough? Or will their fate be the same as the other teams Alex thinks of when Florida comes to mind?
From there, they look at Jake Oettinger falling apart at the wrong time and how strange it is that both Conference Finals are 2-0. Finally, they get to the news that Kyle Dubas is out as General Manager of the Toronto Maple Leafs. The guys break down how it happened and exactly what it means for both the Leafs and Dubas going forward. It seems likely Dubas will find a new job soon, but was it the correct move from the Leafs side of things?

Alex and Chace are back, and the NHL Conference Finals are here! Monday they overviewed the eliminated teams. Today, it is all about the four remaining. The guys break down each matchup, highlighting exactly what will be key to win. Not to mention, how they have gotten here so far.
The other big topic of news this week features the Arizona Coyotes. A $2 billion bid for a new arena in Tempe, Arizona was on that table. However, it has been voted against, which once again leaves the Coyotes homeless in the long term. While they will be back at Mullett Arena next year, how long can that last? This also isn't a new issue. Unlike some markets that bounce back when the team has good, the guys point out how long these discussions have been going on in Arizona for.

Get Started with Athletic Greens today!
Alex and Chace are back with an NHL Round Two Recap. The guys start off by looking at the Hurricanes defeating the Devils 4-1 with an overtime winner in Game 5. They discuss how the Devils lack of goaltending came through at the worst time, but there is no doubt this season should be viewed as anything but a success. Highlighting where they go from here and why this team may be even better next year, the future is bright in New Jersey.
Next, they do a deep dive into the Toronto Maple Leafs dropping Game 5 and losing the series 4-1. With takes flying around Twitter, what really is the best move? Chace makes an argument for variance and the guys debate what a trade would even look like. However, everyone admits there is no obvious answer.
Finally, they switch to the Western Conference. Unfortunately, the Oilers have gone another year where McDavid and Draisaitl will not see a Stanley Cup, despite their crazy seasons. They also preview the Stars and Kraken, with the Stars ending up taking it. The guys will be back Thursday with a full preview of both Conference Finals.

Thursday May 11, 2023
Last episode, the guys previewed the NHL Draft Lottery. Today, they break down the NHL Draft Lottery results. However, before they do that, they examine three of the series that have taken place since they last recorded. Highlighting the games that have happened and analyzing where each team currently stands. From there, they shift to the NHL Draft Lottery results. What does it mean for the Blackhawks who won? But also, what does it mean for the immediate teams after?
The guys examine if Chicago was ready to win, not that anyone in their organization will be complaining about it. However, how do they build this team up so they have all the pieces hitting at once? You don't want to waste any of Bedard's career, but the team also needs some more high-end prospects. Finally, they talk about Gabriel Landeskog and why his career unfortunately may be over.

What needs to change? The guys break it all down and start to ask questions about the teams future if they lose.
From there, they recap all the other series going on, giving their take on what has happened so far. Including a wild Devils and Hurricanes series that has had no lack of scoring. They then switch to the NHL Draft Lottery as Chace talks about his draft model and some prospects he likes, and the guys talk big picture about the draft lottery itself.
Finally, they look at the Rangers and Gallant mutually parting ways and ask where the Rangers go from here. Did Gallant get the best out of an overrated roster? Or was he holding the team back?

If one team can make a comeback, it is the Tampa Bay Lightning.
From there, they recap the other series taking place along with a couple of very dirty hits. One that led to a suspension which the guys think probably could have been longer. Finally, they wrap things up with an exciting Overrated, Underrated, Favourite, Least Favourite. Today's topic is NHL Playoffs.

The guys are back for their Monday show. That's right, they are now twice a week, as announced on their last podcast. That means twice the analysis from Alex and Chace. Today, they look at the series that have finished Game 4 and analyze what has happened. They also take a look at the four series that have completed three games and break down what they saw in Games 2 and 3 in those.
Last time the guys spoke, the Toronto Maple Leafs had just laid an egg on home ice. Now, it looks like they have corrected that mistake. But the real question is, can they finally pull out the dagger in Game 4? Additionally, Joshua Morrissey will be out all series in the West, which is a huge loss.
Finally, they talk about the referees, which has been a massive talking point in this NHL First Round so far. Is it worse than years past? Does something need to be done? The guys break all of that down and more.
