Alex is back with another week of content! Today, he does an NHL playoff race recap and looks at what every team is looking like as we are just one week out of the playoffs starting. To help him, Game Over: Winnipeg host Brady Chalus makes his debut on the podcast!
Together the two start with the team that Brady watches the most, and that is the Winnipeg Jets. The two discuss how the Jets blew a golden opportunity to put away the Calgary Flames. The Flames were also coming off of an embarrassing loss themselves. However, the race is now on as there are only a few games left. This one easily could come down to the end.
They then look at the Central division which had all three teams tied for first. Who will win that? Is someone the "favourite" of the group? Finally, they switch to the East and focus on the wild card and Metro matchups. It seems obvious the Atlantic top three is set, but the rest of the Conference still has some questions.

Alex is back with another week of solo content. Today, he takes a look at the NHL playoff race and how it is shaping up. Currently, the Eastern Conference looks like it is down to two teams fighting it out for the final spot, with one or two other places at play. However, the Western division is wide open still. Three teams in each division are fighting for first in the division and for the conference. Additionally, the wild card picture has three teams fighting for two spots. Alex breaks it all down and gives his thoughts on the race.
From there, he switches to some other news around the NHL. Examining injuries and how it may affect teams. Finally, he talks about what in the world is going on with the Vancouver Canucks? It is a rare time in sports when winning probably isn't good for the team! Yet, they continue to do it in typical Canucks fashion. Join Alex for all of this and more, with the MnM Hockey Podcast!

NHL Trade Deadline Review and Breakdown
Friday Mar 03, 2023
Friday Mar 03, 2023
The MnM Hockey Podcast returns. This week, it is just Alex as he goes solo on the podcast. However, there is no lack of content to speak about as his goal is to hit ALL 32 teams and what they did at the NHL Trade Deadline. Excluding deals that happened before their last podcast, Alex goes through each team.
Use our Code: https://athleticgreens.sjv.io/LWPN
However, instead of going randomly, he breaks them down into tiers. The first tier is the "Didn't Do Much" tier. Pretty self-explanatory. The next tier is called "Sellin' is easy" which is all the major sellers. He then looks at the "all-in" buyers. And finally, ends the podcast with a handful of teams that may have had a little bit of a confusing deadline. Some teams that just didn't do much, and others that maybe did too much. Alex looks into some of the teams he was most shocked by. Tune in for all of this, with the MnM Hockey Podcast.

Breaking Down the Ryan O’Reilly Trade and More
Sunday Feb 26, 2023
Sunday Feb 26, 2023
Alex and Chace are back with another busy week of content. Today, the most significant piece of news is a massive Toronto Maple Leafs trade that took place. Ryan O'Reilly is on the move and is the newest Leafs member. Despite mixed reactions at first, the guys talk through it. The risk clearly comes from Toronto's side of things, but the upside is so large that it is hard to be too down on the move.
They also look at why it could pay off if the upside of the deal hits. As well as will Toronto continue to make another move?
From there, they switch to some other pieces of news that took place, including a rumour that didn't end up being true! However, the merits of the move still apply, even if the team decided to go another way. They finish off the podcast by giving some overrated, underrated, favourite and least favourite Metro Division jerseys.

Vladimir Tarasenko Trade, Signings, and New Rumours
Friday Feb 17, 2023
Friday Feb 17, 2023
Alex and Chace are back with another busy week of content. This week, they start by examining the Vladimir Tarasenko trade! Breaking down the biggest name of the year traded so far and what each team got in the deal. Should Tarasenko's poor season performance be anything to worry about? Is this truly an underwhelming return like some seem to think it is? There are also some other NHL news items they need to touch on, including the LA Kings making a pair of signings.
From there, the guys discuss a bunch of rumours that are floating around the NHL right now. Including some surprising teams that may be looking to sell key players. As well as someone obvious sellers such as where is Jacob Chychrun going to land when it gets to deadline day? Finally, they wrap the show up playing an overrated, underrated, favourite, least favourite of Atlantic Division jerseys. Hear who they think has the best and worst uniforms in the Atlantic.

Thursday Feb 09, 2023
Thursday Feb 09, 2023
Alex and Chace are back with a very busy week of content. Today, they look at the Bo Horvat signing. Who was just traded last week. The guys break it down and whether or not they feel it was the right move for the player and team. From there, they look at a pair of Washington Capitals signings. Once again, they discuss how they impact the team and players. As well as the fact that the Capitals have almost no defenceman signed for next season.
The final of the NHL singing comes in the form of Dylan Cozens signing his new deal with the Buffalo Sabres. Explaining why it is smart to take these risks, the guys look at what the outcome would be for Buffalo if the absolute worst-case scenario were to occur. Finally, Alex and Chace break down a small trade that occurred this past week and what it means for both sides. They also talk ELC's in the NHL and an interesting theory about how saving contract years is actually not as good as using them.

Bo Horvat Trade and Other Deadline Proposals
Tuesday Jan 31, 2023
Tuesday Jan 31, 2023
Alex and Chace are back for another week of content. After they spent all of last week talking about the Canucks rebuild and what they should do for trades, the Canucks make a massive trade this week. The Bo Horvat trade timing was relatively surprising. However, it gives the guys a ton to discuss. They take a look at what it means for both sides, as well as Horvat himself. At first, Alex wasn't sure about the trade for the Canucks, but after considering it, he really starts to like it.
From there, they shift to other deadline proposals. These ones are ones that Alex has come up with, however. Taking three names from the top of the trade bait boards, Alex looks for the best fit for three different buyers. His first deal starts with the Vancouver Canucks continuing their rebuild. Tune in to see who the next name he believes they should make.
