The guys are back with a pre-recorded episode as they took most of August off. However, a massive trade did happen that the guys need to break down. Erik Karlsson is now a member of the Pittsburgh Penguins. The guys look at the trade from all angles and what it means for the league as well as the teams involved. Breaking down what may be one of the biggest moves of the offseason.
They then shift to their final top 20 list of the year. They have broken down all other positions. However, this one might be the toughest yet. The goalies list has always been so volatile. So with that in mind, the guys break down the top NHL goalies right now. The guys highlight exactly why they have each goalie ranked where they do, and discuss the differences between their lists. Overall, the lists have similar tiers. However, the guys do have some great debates regarding certain goalies.

Alex and Chace are back with another week of content! Today, before they look at their Top 20 NHL defencemen lists, they start with some news. There have been multiple contracts that have been signed since they last recorded. Accordingly, they go through all of them and give their opinions on it. Including a rare disagreement between the two guys!
From there, they move to the Top 20 NHL Defencemen lists. If you missed the Centres or Wingers, be sure to check those out! Today, the guys follow the same format. The list comes first, followed by an explanation as to why. From honourable mentions and then starting at 20, they work their way down to number 1!
They also compare to the 2021-22 offseason list they put together last summer and what that looks like. Speaking on some of the huge differences or why players moved up or down so much. Make sure to join next week as well when they look at the Top 20 NHL Goalies!

Welcome back to the MnM Hockey Podcast. Today, Alex and Chace break down the Top 20 NHL Wingers in the league. If you missed last week, they did the same thing for the Top 20 Centres. Today, they combine left and right wingers into one list. Like always, the guys start with their honourable mentions. The players who just missed the list, but are right on the bubble.
From there, they start into their Top 20 lists. Alex and Chace have a similar handful of names, but none seem to exactly match. However, as they get deeper into the lists, things start to turn around. The guys finish the top of their lists with some extremely similar names, in very close order. Making for a fun debate, both Alex and Chace explain why they have certain players ranked where they did.

Alex and Chace are back for another week of NHL content. Today is a very exciting day as they kick off their annual Top 20 list! Every year, they have broken down the top 20 centres in the league. The guys will do this for every position in the coming weeks. However, before they can start that they do have some news to talk about. Including a trade from Alex's favourite team, the Ottawa Senators. The guys dive into the deal and what it means and does for both sides.
From there, they look at their 2023 NHL Centres list. Starting at 20 and working their way all the way to one. Unfortunately, there isn't much of a surprise who number one is. However, the rest of the list remains intriguing. The guys go through each and even have a few matches on their way. Overall, the lists feature a lot of the same names but a good debate comes between what order they should be in. Tune in next week for the Top 20 NHL Wingers list!

Today, Alex and Chace start their NHL free agency breakdown. Examining all 16 of the Eastern Conference teams and exactly what they have done over the past week or so. This includes examining each teams buyouts, trades, drafts, and of course, NHL Free Agency signings.
The guys give their opinion on each teams offseason as a whole and also grade what they have done up to this point. With lots to talk about, each team is featured in-depth. The teams that didn't make too many moves the guys spoke about why that may be the correct call and what the actual plan is going forward for them.
Finally, they preview the Western side of things which will be released on Thursday afternoon. Make sure to keep an eye out for it wherever you listen to your podcasts!

Alex is back but is solo this week as Chace is in Nashville for the NHL Draft! Today, Alex looks at the absolute mayhem that has taken place in the NHL over the past few days. Tons of trades, including another sign and trade has taken place! Alex breaks each one down for both sides and gives his thoughts on why it makes sense or not.
However, he starts with looking at a buyout that was pretty predictable, but maybe surprisingly early. The Canucks have bought out Oliver Ekman Larsson and Alex wants to know what the goal is for the team this season. From there, he goes on to admire some smart teams using their cap space in advantageous ways. Finally, he looks at some signings that have taken place since the last time the guys recorded. Once again giving his opinion on the fit, term, and more. One thing is for sure, the NHL Draft is only going to bring on even more mayhem as Free Agency is right around the corner.

Alex and Chace are back with a very busy week of content. First, they look at the NHL Stanley Cup Finals where the Vegas Golden Knights won in just five games. The guys break down the series and highlight what was ultimately an underwhelming finals. From there, they switch to the sale of the Ottawa Senators. After a long process, it is finally over. Alex gives his thoughts on the whole process and where it goes from here.
Finally, they end by looking at some offseason news. A sign-and-trade and a massive signing courtesy of the New Jersey Devils. As well as the New York Rangers hiring a new head coach. The coach they selected has both the guys a little confused. However, they dissect what may make the move work for a Rangers team that is very clearly in "win now" mode.

The guys are back with another episode! After taking Monday off, they are back with a full week of NHL news. Today, they start by examining how Games 1 and 2 of the NHL Stanley Cup Finals. The Golden Knights have seemingly cracked the code when it comes to Sergei Bobrovsky, finding success that the previous teams could not.
From there, they switch to some NHL news. Starting with Kyle Dubas ending up in Pittsburgh, and what it means for the team going forward. From there, they switch to Mike Babcock returning to the NHL. This time, with the Columbus Blue Jackets. The guys look at what it means for the team and does it really make sense? From there, they look at a three-way trade featuring Ivan Provorov. Examining what each team received and who ultimately wins and loses in this deal. Finally, they look at a duo of signings, one a defenceman in LA. The other a young and exciting forward.
